John learnt to dive in cairns in 1989 whilst working for an adventure company rafting and sea kayaking. Moving back to Melbourne John didn't dive for some years pursuing a career in building and time ocean racing including competing in various Sydney to Hobart races.
Since returning to diving john has found an insatiable appetite for the exploration of shipwrecks and is currently involved with Heritage Victoria and Getunder Dive in an attempt to launch an adopt-a-wreck project to help maintain Victorian shipwrecks using the J5 submarine as a test site. |
